Man wanted in Bridgeville homicide turns himself into police, troopers say

A man wanted in connection with the killing of a Bridgeville man last week turned himself in Monday, according to state police.

Troopers announced that 28-year-old Mcarthur M. Risper Jr. was wanted as a suspect in the homicide investigation after a 41-year-old man was found shot to death Friday night along Mill Park Drive, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe, a spokeswoman with Delaware State Police. 

28-year-old Mcarthur M. Risper Jr. of Bridgeville.  Risper currently has active warrants for Murder First Degree, Conspiracy First Degree, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection to the murder of Corey Bailey, 41, of Bridgeville.

Corey Bailey was transported by paramedics to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Jaffe sauid

Risper was identified as a suspect through the investigation, and has been charged with first degree murder, conspiracy and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Jaffe said.

He was then taken to Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown after failing to post $1,045,000 secured bail.
