Texas Roadhouse to open in Millsboro in May, hire 200 people

Texas Roadhouse is slated to open mid-May in Millsboro's Peninsula Crossing shopping center. 

"We are early on in construction, but things are moving along. The city has been great to work with," said spokesperson Amanda Norton.

The 7,600-square-foot restaurant will seat approximately 300 guests. Norton said they will hire about 200 people (60% part-time, 40% full-time) for the Millsboro location.

It will be open 4-10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 4 - 11 p.m. Fridays, noon to 11 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.

Texas Roadhouse already has four other locations in Delaware, in Seaford, Bear, Camden and Middletown. 

Right next door to the Millsboro location, a Grotto Pizza is also under construction. Grotto spokesperson Heather Kenton said they're hoping to be open by the end of March.
